- Heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs repeatedly and daily).
- Must be able to stand, squat, and bend over for long periods of time.
- Speak, write and read English fluently.
- Read and execute assembly instructions, assembly drawings, and procedure manuals and competence in Mathematics.
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to assemble Hydraulic and Electrical assemblies.
- Operate computer to check schedules, update manufacturing status of jobs.
- Must be selfmotivated, energetic and a good communicator.
- Must have reliable transportation to drive between 24 store locations.
- Experience use of pneumatic tools an asset.
- Forklift Certification is an asset as is an Engineering background.
Work Experience:
- Minimum threefive years mechanical/electrical/hydraulic assembly and/or metal fabrication experience or equivalent required.
Skills/Other:
- Ability to read blueprints, competence in mathematics, ability to lift 50 lbs, strong time management skills and ability to change priorities as required. Must have own tools.
- Performs typical operations duties including some machine troubleshooting, quality checks, and finished product labeling in a fastpaced environment.
- Responsible to ensure all quality standards are met on all pieces.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor/lead, and/or quality.
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Clocks in and out per shift requirements and conforms to set break schedules.
- Maintains attendance within company guidelines, starts work on time, works assigned schedule to include overtime if required.
- Communicates clearly with all coworkers and supervision.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Must satisfy all quality standards and quality processes.
- Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
Your Profile:

- High School graduate or GED or equivalent experience.
- Able to do prolong standing.
- The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Good dexterity, attention to fine details, and depth perception to enable detail hand coordination.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, handeye coordination and the ability to adjust focus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Manufacturing & electrical experience would be advantageous.
- Final assembly testing and troubleshooting
- Assisting & mentoring junior assembly technicians.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills to include basic understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel spreadsheets and Access database to complete endofday reports.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Working Hours:
6:30AM to 3:00PM Monday thru Thursday and 6:30AM to 2:10PM.
