Able to analyse complex projects and coordinate staff and equipment resources to meet client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Work from blueprints to lay out reference points and patterns as well as construct patterns and templates
- Review drawings with the Shop Supervisor or Lead Hand plan tasks sequence decide how cut steel efficiently determine materials required obtain them from stock assemble fit metal sections plates together use metal-working machines cutting torches cut steel drill punch holes roll bend press steel shapes tack weld bolt sections together instruct apprentices welders helpers operate overhead cranes material handling equipment follow Safe Job Practices Procedures Other duties as required in work location In person
