The District Hospitality Leader is responsible for supporting and overseeing our hospitality concepts across Canada. As the District Hospitality Leader you will be responsible for overseeing operations of all concepts.

This includes people development, profitability and leading through our values, which are:
Teamwork, Ownership, People, Integrity, and Community.

You will lead by setting the standard of how we work together, treat people, make decisions, and live in the world of Princess Auto.

We are looking for a hospitality professional, with an entrepreneurial spirit, to lead and support these exciting ventures.

Current concepts include:

The Blue Truck Barbecue (a restaurant in Edmonton)
Blue Truck Smokies (a seasonal food truck in Winnipeg)
The Blue Truck Grill (a restaurant in our Home Office, for our Team Members)
The Salon (onsite hospitality services in our Home Office, for our Team Members)

Future concepts in Winnipeg are currently in development, with the possibility of more to come

Please note:

This position is an on-site role, based in our beautiful Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road, in Winnipeg.

Travel is required as current and future concepts will be located across Canada.

What will you do as the District Hospitality Leader?

Drive operational standards and profitability in all concepts, through training, clear expectations, timely direction and accountabilities
Create a strategic plan to develop proper bench strength for all concepts
Monitor performance to plan for all key performance indicators at all concepts and reports on findings
Develop long range goals and objectives for each concept
Lead all areas of new concept openings and assist in ensuring new concepts reach their business goals
Helps solve problems that affect the customer service, efficiency and productivity
Ensure that concepts comply with safety and environmental codes
Plans and delivers seasonal rollouts across all concepts
Responsible for recruitment, hiring and training of Leadership positions
Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
Development of local suppliers and vendor relationships
Managing budgets through competitive analyses, menu and pricing suggestions

To be considered for this role, here's what you need to bring to the table:

Post-secondary education in related field is an asset

years' leadership experience in restaurant/hospitality industry

Multiunit restaurant experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional public speaking skills
Proven ability to train a team and build relationships
Ability to lead restaurant operations
Outstanding customer service skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong judgment and decision making skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Work and PowerPoint
