Description

Support Workers support residents to live successfully in group home settings, implementing the philosophy and values of Communitas. Ensure that the physical, emotional, social, educational, and medical needs of the people served are being met, with a view towards helping each of them grow to their full potential.

LOCATION
Courtenay, BC

Here's what you can expect:

Support Workers are expected to work according to pre-determined schedules as per program needs. Each schedule will have day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts unless otherwise stated.

This position requires a moderate level of physical fitness. Some lifting/transferring of individuals served and assistance with personal care required.

Legally entitled to work in Canada
Good written and verbal English skills
Possession of a valid Class 4 Restricted BC Drivers License
Possession of a valid Emergency First Aid Certificate with CPR
Doctors Note of Good Health
TB Test
Driving Record Abstract
Proof of full COVID19 vaccination
