We are seeking a Carpenter, who enjoys working outside, has strong a work ethic, good teamwork skills and leadership experience.

Carpenter Responsibilities:

Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring and installing walls and roofing systems
Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes
Repairing and renovating wooden structures
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches
Inside finishing
Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding hardware
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Carpenter Requirements:

Operate a variety of hand and power tools of all types: hammer, drills, chainsaws, skill saws, jack jammer
Install of windows & doors, roof trusses, sheathing, hardware,
Erect scaffolding and ladders working at heights training a requirement
Ability to work independently
Experience working in a physical environment. Must be able to lift 80lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Excellent communication and motivation
Good problem solving and decisionmaking
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organization and delegation skills
Valid Ontario driver's license, as well as transportation to work.
Completion of secondary school
Minimum 2 years of experience required
