We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your expertise to this exciting
Lead, Clinical Supplies, Equipment & Practice role located in Surrey, BC.


In this position, you will:


  • Provide consultation and facilitate processes regarding the selection, implementation, and use of clinical supplies and equipment
  • Act as a strategic liaison between care providers and supply chain management groups
  • Provide practice leadership related to the selection, implementation, and use of clinical supplies and equipment

We are looking for you to have:

  • A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master's Degree in a health care related field.
  • Five (5) years recent, related clinical and/or educator experience in a complex health care environment including progressive quality, education and leadership experience.
  • Current practicing registration with the relevant regulatory college or association in British Columbia

Detailed Overview:

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:

The Lead, Clinical Supplies, Equipment & Practice is responsible for providing practice consultation and facilitating processes that will result in care providers having the appropriate supplies and equipment to support their clinical practice and provide safe, efficient and cost effective patient care.

Acts as a strategic liaison between care providers and supply chain management groups.

Provides practice leadership related to the selection, implementation, and use of clinical supplies and equipment, including clinical practice assessment, advice, practice standards and process development consultation, and continuous quality improvement.

Ensures that the selection, implementation, and use of clinical supplies and equipment are supporting quality clinical practice and patient safety and are in adherence with Fraser Health''s (FH) established standards and clinical operational objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Provides practice consultation leadership to clinicians, managers, and directors and facilitates processes regarding the selection, implementation, and use of clinical supplies and equipment; ensures related clinical practices align with organizational quality and operational objectives (medication safety, etc.).
  • Offers practice assessment, advice and problemsolving for complex practice challenges related to supply and equipment use, selection, implementation, possible recall or backorder and replacement.
  • Collaborates with various clinical leaders across FH and acts as a strategic liaison between clinical areas and supply chain management in order to facilitate processes for the selection, acquisition, implementation, and evaluation of clinical supplies and equipment.
  • Assists in the development of business cases related to new clinical supplies or equipment. Identifies potential savings, cost implications, operational impacts
