Company Description Rockscapes of Canada will be celebrating 40 years this upcoming December as Artificial Rock and Waterfeature specialists. We have created some of the most incredible features all across Ontario and Canada. Including over 50 habitats at the Toronto Zoo, Ontario Science Center, Casino Rama and many many more.
Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Apprentice Artificial Rock and Water creator at Rockscapes of Canada Inc. As an Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with construction projects, including landscape installations, hardscape installations, and general site maintenance. You will work closely with experienced Rockscapers to learn the craft and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of constructing artificial rock and waterfeatures. There will be 3 weeks of in-class/ online learning as well as a full week inside the sandbox to design and build your own waterfeatures.This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment, as well as travel, a great attitude and the willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or landscaping
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate machinery
• Experience with rockwork and landscaping projects is a plus
• Additional certifications or training in construction or landscaping is beneficial
• any artistic talent or interest is beneficial
