Qualifications:
Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority and have two (2) years of pertinent experience.
Other Requirements:
Must be fluent in French and English
Working knowledge of Achat & La Procure software would be an asset
Knowledge of electronic inventory control and distribution systems.
Knowledge of CSST approved safety standards and protocols would be an asset.
Knowledge of Word, Excel
NEAT software for management of quotations, Purchase orders and packing slips would be an asset.
Must be able to move heavy loads
Salary scale as per the IASS' Collective Agreement:
$22.18 To $24.13 per hour
Nature of the work
The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in being responsible for a store or warehouse and in performing various tasks related to its operation.
If necessary, the employee must, in addition, perform the characteristic functions of the class of employment of class I storekeeper.
The employee in this class of employment coordinates the decentralized or centralized operations of a store under his or her authority.
They are responsible for receiving, storing, and delivering tools, goods, materials, and other supplies; loans audiovisual material, tools and instruments and ensures their return.
The employee sees that the goods received conform to the purchase orders; they fill out receipts and other documents and makes a note of damaged and lost goods.
They also record details of the goods received in a record book or on appropriate cards, sees that the goods are stored properly and affixes identification tags, if necessary.
The employee delivers supplies from the store and prepares the necessary purchase orders for the replacement of articles. They may sell certain articles and prepares the deposits. Periodically, they take a complete inventory and sees if stock conforms to the record books and prepares reports. They make certain purchases according to established procedures and specified instructions.The employee carries out minor repairs and maintenance when required and sees that major repairs are made. They ensure that the store is kept tidy.
Using an appropriate program, the employee may be required to enter, in a computer, data related to the duties they perform.
If need be, they perform any other related duty.
Daily Tasks/Dossiers
- Create the database for barcode scanning/inventory man
This system will have multiple components to it:
a) Consumables
b) Inventory by competency
c) Student Kit inventory management
d) Small hand tools (ex. Staple guns, pliers, screwdrivers)
e) Large machine tools (i.e. band saw, wet tile cutter, drill press)
- Manage IDD Inventory Supply
- Prepare IDD Purchase Orders and follow up
- Distribute student kits and uniforms to students on their first day
- Set up learning trolleys for IDD teachers for labs

Qualifications requises:
Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études professionnelles dans une spécialité appropriée à la classe d'emplois ou être titulaire d'un diplôme de 5e année du secondaire ou être titulaire d'un diplôme ou d'une attestation d'études dont l'équivalence est reconnue par l'autorité compétente, et avoir deux (2) années d'expérience pertinente.

Connaissance fonctionnelle des logiciels Achat & La Procure
- un atout
Connaissance du contrôle électronique des stocks et des systèmes de distribution
Connaissance des protocoles et des normes approuvées de sécurité de la CSST - un atout
Connaissance de Word et d'Excel
Connaissance du logiciel NEAT de gestion des appels d'offres, de demandes d'achats et de bordereaux de livraison
Capacité de déplacer de lourdes charges
Échelle de salaire selon la convention collective del'UIES:22.18 $ à 24.13 $ de l'heure
