Description

We are looking for an individual to be a re-order purchaser for our food distribution company.

We have established vendors that we purchase food products from and you would be required to develop demand forecasts for the individual products, place purchase orders with these vendors, co-ordinate the incoming freight/customs for the shipments and receive them within our computer system upon arrival.

Having a background in logistics would be a benefit but not necessary. We're looking for an individual that organized, detail oriented and can work with other team members. Computer literacy is required ( Outlook, Excel, Word ) for this position.

Our office is a friendly, business casual environment, and we are looking for someone who can work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, but there's some flexibility with start/end times each day.

Starting salary at $50,000-60,000 depending on experience, with 2 weeks' paid vacation, and reviewable after one year. You will not be expected to work statutory holidays or overtime.
