Shift Technician
What do we Manufacture?


Required Shift:
Shift is two 12-hour days followed by two 12 hour nights then 4 days off
Day Shift: 7am - 7pm;
Nigh Shift: 7pm - 7 am
Every other weekend off

The shift technician is r esponsible for plant reliability in designated area of the plant; equipment downtime, execution of permanent repairs and preventative maintenance,, and significant improvement of area, and maximizes overall area and plant performance through reliability.

5+ years' experience maintaining mechanical systems/equipment in a high-speed production environment
~ Strong technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
~ Knowledge of manufacturing safety, HACCP, ISO, materials conversion, etc
~ Working knowledgeof SAP PM
~ Post-Secondary Education in a technical field
~ Trade certificate/license (Millwright / Electrical) is a MUST

Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
Ability to read, write and understand English
Playing an active role as a leader on shift
Technical resource for complicated changeover procedures and ensures effectiveness
Notifies Technical Leaders of potential upgrades and modifications
Recommend and implement improvements for recurring reliability issues in the site
Attend and participate in shift maintenance planning and downtime meetings
Participate, in all full-line maintenance days
P rovides training for operators in proper PM and work order completion
Plays an active role in the effective communication of technical activities to designated and following shift
