Responsibilities
- Repair domestic commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Read blueprints drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system water supply network waste and drainage systems
- Cut opening in walls floors to accommodate pipe pipe fittings locate mark positions for pipe connections passage holes fixtures in walls floors join pipes using couplings clamps screws bolts cement soldering brazing welding equipment test pipes for leaks using air water pressure gauges determine piping system requirements pipe sizing measure cut thread bend pipes required shape size
