Sister Sophie Ltd. (Markham) is seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant.Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin
Your responsibilities are:
- Administrative duties_:
- Arrange schedules for students with teachers according to their availability and requirements
- In charge of rescheduling conflict classes and communicating with parents/students/teachers in a timely matter.
- Greet parents and students as they arrive at the school and direct students to the appropriate teachers.
- Sales duties_:
- Approach for securement of new customers/Old customer: Identify clients that represent the greatest potential and develop strategies based on their needs. Use your outside sales experience to prospect and develop new, exciting business relationships.
- Organic growth opportunities: Work with our existing customer database to promote and educate on new products and other services.
- Account profitability: build revenue reports and track profitability.
- Identifying and promoting our valueadd proposition and product differentiation vs the competition.
- Provide marketplace insight, competitive landscape and ensure sufficient business in the pipeline for each service offering.
- Sales activity will be tracked throughout each stage of the Sales cycle from prospect to close.
- At least one year of experience in marketing/ebusiness customer service/telephone customer service
- Strongly organized skills, able to multitask, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a timely manner.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify problems and inconsistencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Outgoing and positive, able to deescalate complaints and handle challenges professionally.
- Experience attending Canadian high school would be an asset.
Experience:
Minimum 1-year experience working as an administrative assistant, receptionist, customer service rep, marketing specialist, or similar position.
Work experience in an Education Institute Environment, especially an after-school institute, is a strong asset.
Education:
A Post-Secondary Education is equivalent to a college diploma or university Degree specializing in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
