Position Summary


An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a
Project & Business Process Analyst within the Digital PMO initially supporting Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (PMCF) projects.

This includes projects such as the the donor portal that provides key information & services to supporters and an online grant tool providing fund holders at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre access to financial details related to their fund accounts.

This position will deliver solutions that are data-driven, bring value to our stakeholders, and achieve UHN's business objectives.

We are seeking an organized, results-driven, innovative individual who can support various types of digital projects that support clinicians, researchers, educators, patients, and corporate business areas.

These initiatives include process redesign, software implementation, data analytics, and solution selection/design and implementation.


Duties

  • Analyze business needs and opportunities, contributing to development of solution scope
  • Support stakeholder communication and engagement; change management and training. Be the liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct workflow review, data analysis, business and technical requirements gathering, and process redesign. Documentation and evaluation of current system and business processes.
  • Contribute towards Cost Benefit Analysis by identifying business related KPIs and metrics.
  • Support problem analysis, data analysis, and issue resolution, maintaining required documentation
  • Support meeting administration and facilitation including scheduling project meetings, and taking and distributing meeting minutes
  • Lead simple to moderately complex tasks, and sometimes small projects

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of Project Management, Business Process/Analysis, and Data Analysis experience or equivalent required
  • Sound knowledge of project management standards (project planning, implementation, evaluation, risk assessment, benefits realization) preferred
  • Experience leading project workstreams or small projects independently preferred
  • Experience developing/coordinating the development of business requirements
  • Experience in conducting workflow mapping and analysis
  • Experience in data analysis to support reporting and assessments
  • Experience in supporting delivery of managementlevel presentations, training and/or end user support
  • Experience with hardware and/or software vendor relations an asset
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Change Management certification an asset
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems, interfaces, HL7, ITIL, data centre, network infrastructure, Waterfall & Agile methadology, JIRA and/or enterprise architecture an asset
  • Experience with Epic system an asset, including use, build and/or vendor certified
