    Hammehr invites applications for the role of a Technical Architect on behalf of our Edmonton-based client for a 10-month contract. There is a possibility of a multi-year extension, after the initial term. The role will be hybrid, 3 days on-site a week.

    Position Overview: The client, a healthcare organization, is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare technology. As a Technical Architect, candidates will play a pivotal role in implementing technologies to support critical business objectives.

    What You'll Do:

    • Serve as a key player in modernizing healthcare architectures and design practices.
    • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the secure and reliable deployment of applications and infrastructure.
    • Design and deliver cloud infrastructure on multiple platforms, including RedHat Openshift.
    • Develop project deliverables and facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Utilize expertise in IT infrastructure architecture to optimize service delivery.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Certification in Azure Fundamentals and/or AWS.
    • Experience in IT infrastructure architecture within the healthcare industry.
    • Proficiency in project management and stakeholder collaboration.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
    • Familiarity with modern cloud providers and hybrid cloud applications.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Red Hat Openshift and IBM hardware/software.
    • Knowledge of Data Fabric and Data Mesh architectures.
    • Previous experience with the healthcare sector.
    • Leadership experience in the public sector, ideally in Canada.
