  Must hold and maintain a current First Aid Certificate:

• 
  Must have experience working with children in a child care/recreational setting:

• Reports to the Senior Educator
• Be familiar with the Program Policies and Procedures
• Follow the center's philosophy and safety policies
• Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
• In consultation with team members; You will incorporate learning experiences designed to meet the individual needs of the children.
• Assist and support classroom teachers with implementation of the daily routine.

• Preparing and setting up activities and Implementing the daily program
• Assisting in keeping the classroom, storage areas, and bathrooms clean, neat and orderly and sanitized
• Assisting the Senior Educator with information to be submitted to the office for a monthly newsletter (Information due into Office by the 20th of each month)
• Assisting the Senior Educator with planning curriculum for the children in the classroom that is developmentally appropriate and helps children develop physically, cognitively, emotionally, socially and spiritually. (Lesson plans due into Office by the 20th of each month)
• Assisting with arranging and attending field trips
• Decorating the room including bulletin boards
• Establish good relationship with the children and their families; as well as coworkers
• Handle emergencies, crises, and challenging behaviors of the children
• Pass on messages, information and concerns to the Senior Educator / Manager. Submit written classroom/student observations to the Senior Educator / Manager when asked
• Attend staff meetings
