As a Barclays Analyst - Banking Diversified Industries Group, you will have broad exposure to the Barclays business across a wide spectrum of investment banking product categories.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of a variety of undertakings including financial analyst, valuation, modelling, assisting with the preparation of presentations and memorandums and performing due diligence.

Analyst will achieve a thorough understanding of the strength and capabilities of the Barclays global platform, its businesses and its culture.

What will you be doing?

Taking care of financial analysis, modelling, valuation, and industry research
Performing due diligence by completing industry research
Preparing presentations and memorandums
Developing effective working relationships and demonstrating a solid commitment to the Firm's goals and values
Striving to make a positive impact on the people around by being a team player
Effectively managing projects consistent with Barclays emphasis on a cooperative supportive work environment

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance
Demonstrated track record of academic excellence
Working understanding and prior experience with financial modelling, building, using and operating cash flow projections and credit financial analysis

Skills that will help you in the role:

Investment banking experience in an Associate role in M&A and/ or Diversified Industries coverage preferred
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Resourcefulness, team orientation, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit

Our office is based in Toronto 333 Bay Street, where the investment banking services are provided through Barclays Capital Canada.
