Position Summary


CloudMD is looking for an Associate Product Manager (APM) who will work closely the Product team and stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver an exceptional, winning user experience in the healthcare industry.

The APM will participate and manage initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, including but not limited to user/market research and insights, product development and launch, and post release activities.

This is a great opportunity to gain exposure and/or hone skillsets in B2B2C web and mobile development cycles, agile methodologies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (sales, marketing, operations, engineering, design, QA).


Responsibilities:

Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to manage and deliver product roadmap initiatives, opportunities, and/or assigned projects

Insights: Conduct research and draw insights on users, customers, and the broader market (e.g. trends, competitors) to inform product offerings and vision

Product Design, Development, and Launch: Identify and unpack user & customer problems, map current and future user journeys, define and prioritize requirements, and work with Design, Engineering and QA to deliver products and features

User Testing: Develop and launch user experiments and testing to collect feedback, build on our understanding of our users, and inform how our products are designed (e.g. form hypotheses, validate and iterate based on product experiment results

Post-Release Optimization: Continuously manage product and usage insights (e.g. metrics, feedback) to identify opportunities for the Product Team to optimize product performance

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Passion for innovation and new product development, and the ability to creatively construct plans to get there
  • Comfortable with building new working relationships across the organization and working directly with stakeholders
  • Empathy for our users, a high level of integrity, and a gogetter, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Hunger to learn across the core areas of our business, to synthesize insights from your learnings and to leverage those insights in your team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Clear and consistent communication and stakeholder management skills (must be comfortable building relationships and working directly with stakeholders across a variety of functions/teams)
  • Highly collaborative and effective team member
  • Experience with Mixpanel, PowerBI or similar tools a plus

Minimum Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering), Computer Science, or Business from a recognized postsecondary institution
  • Must be authorized to work in the Canada on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, or equivalent (e.g. G Suite)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving capabilities (or the willingness to attempt by working backwards from the problem)
  • Certification(s) for execution methodologies is a strong asset (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Marketing, Project Management, System Architect, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in producing user journey maps, process flows, content inventories, wireframes, prototypes, polished interface design files etc.
  • Experience or familiarity with usability testing and usercentered design practices.
  • Capacity to uncover customer/user needs without losing sight of the core problem you're solving for, and to translate them into product requirements
  • SAAS or Ecommerce experience, with a focus on growth and AB testing
