- Completed post secondary education related to business, public administration, human resources or related field
- Considerable experience applying human resource principles, policies and frameworks to a range of HRM functions; in a unionized setting is an asset
- Considerable and recent experience leading and planning strategic HR initiatives and/or processes, to align people strategies with organizational priorities, and providing advice/recommendations to executive level decision makers.
- Experience managing a team including a demonstrated ability to build capacity.
