Delivery Driver - Brampton, Canada - Stevens Company

Description

Drivers are responsible to ensure timely delivery of packages to customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, load/unload vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to our client base.

• Ensure preloaded truck is ready for delivery
• Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries
• Deliver product as per customer requirements obtaining signatures and completing all required paperwork
• Accept returns from customer, completing appropriate paperwork and return to warehouse
• Update manifest with reason codes
• Address and resolve customer feedback as appropriate. Inform supervisor of outstanding issues
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
• Perform pretrip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance problems to supervisor
• Engage in safe work practices
• Offloading and loading of palletized material from the truck
• Checking product against the packing slip or order and making note of any discrepancies

• 13 years experience with commercial driving experience
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to lift 45lbs
