P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. is a Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering consulting firm. We are seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our team to continue with promoting a culture of safety.

Duties:

Leads the development, implementation and monitoring of the health and safety program, both within the office and in the field
Conducts new hire safety orientation and training
Plans and conducts safety meetings
Conducts regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety policies and legislation
Adheres to and ensures the organization is compliant with all health & safety legislations, regulations, standards and required practices

Qualifications and Requirements:

NCSO Certification would be an asset

years of experience as a Construction Safety Coordinator or similar capacity in a construction setting

Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across various levels of the organization
Driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
