DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES|
About the role**- The purpose of this job is to nurture vendor relationships. The incumbent will take ownership for the day-to-day business management of revenue and profit targets and development of the channel via existing and new reseller partnerships_

  • This role will report _to the_ Country Manager_

As the Vendor Alliance Manager, you will:

  • The ability to form, build and farm relationships, network effectively and intelligently, internally, within the vendor and partner base.
  • The ability to clearly articulate the vendor message to suit the audience, for example technical, commercial or financial and gain the buy in of all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that a professional research driven approach is adopted to each meeting and opportunity
  • Liaising with internal departments eg: Operations, sales, technical consultants, in order to fulfil customer needs, such as arranging demonstrations, organising quotes, logistics and customer risk management.
  • Logistics as part of post product and service delivery
  • Monthly sales reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE|
About you**
The ideal Vendor Alliance Manager:
  • A minimum Higher School Certificate or Grade 12 or the equivalent is essential, relevant Degree / Diploma in Sales & Marketing (preferred)
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to their workload, able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the IT channel and commercial challenges for distribution
  • A confident, warm, fun personality that works hard and is targetorientated
  • Experienced presenting to seniorlevel contacts
  • Clear communication and analytical skills
