Job Overview:
Brand new Italian Restaurant by Paddlewheeler Riverboat in New Westminster.


Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages following standard recipes
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
• Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
• Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in bartending or customer service is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and beverage preparation
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic math skills for calculating orders and handling payments
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and cash handling procedures

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with POS systems
• Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages
• Ability to recommend food and beverage pairings
• Training in responsible alcohol service

The position will include weekday, weekend and evening shifts
