    The Opportunity:

    The QA Administrator will be responsible for providing administration support to the QC Department. This would include; radiograph & film report review, daily entry of data from the weld mappers, filing documents, report building, and daily log entry.

    This position requires a strong team player with excellent communication, organizational and planning skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Revise piping drawings in Acorn to reflect the layouts
    • Issue/revise drawings
    • Tracking and logging of project documentation
    • Entering data using Google Sheets and Acorn Drafting Program
    • Communicate effectively with QA/QC team and external clients in a professional manner
    • Reject reports that have missing/incorrect information

    Requirements

    • Experience with Acorn piping software would be an asset
    • Experience in piping or structural QA documentation is an asset
    • Interested in pursuing a career in Quality Control/Weld Inspection would be an asset
    • G-Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail) knowledge/experience would be considered an asset
    • Assist Materials Coordinator with receiving paperwork
    • Check material chemistry for code and client specification compliance
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficient computer and math skills
    • Organizational skills and ability to multi‐task
    • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with confidence is essential
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Strong computer skills required
