We currently have an opening for a Qualitative Research Manager with relevant and comparable experience to join our growing team.


About the Role:

Experience in
quantitative methods is preferred, as many projects will be mixed methodology studies, though not required.

More specifically, your role will involve:

  • Designing, managing, and executing research studies
  • Leading client conversations, including managing expectations, responding to inquiries, keeping clients updated and happy throughout the duration of any project
  • Creating screeners, discussion guides and questionnaires
  • Leading qualitative fieldwork (in multiple languages would be a bonus)
  • Working closely with internal teams, as well as other researchers, to execute research studies
  • Generating insights that shape how clients think about medium and longterm strategic implications
  • Conducting workshops, field studies, interviews, surveys, usability tests, A/B testing, cardsorting, design reviews, and competitive analyses, as appropriate
  • Creating personas, scenarios, storyboards, conceptual models, journey and experience maps, service blueprints, and other artifacts to help drive design vision and strategy
  • Communicating insights in creative and compelling ways
  • Mentoring other researchers, and maintaining our team's high standard of work

About You:


  • Bachelor's or Master's in Design Research, Anthropology, Sociology, Cognitive Psychology, or a related discipline
  • Deep and broad knowledge of qualitative research techniques and methodological rigor
  • Solid knowledge of quantitative research techniques
  • Excellent client/stakeholder management skills on proposal briefings, kickoff calls, the duration of a research project and through presentation of deliverables
  • Experience with storytelling and other narratives to create deep empathy for customers and their needs
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience moderating digitally in IDIs or groups
  • Experience using MS Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Selfmotivated, autonomous, capable of managing own projects and workload
  • Organized, can manage different tasks simultaneously
  • Enthusiastic, open, friendly and customer orientated
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Mastery of English (native level preferred); fluency in a second language is a bonus
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
