We are currently recruiting for a
full-time Administrator, Inventory Planning and Replenishment to support our DC Operations team and work out of our
Oakville Distribution Centre.


POSITION OVERVIEW

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Inventory Planning and Replenishment Team with the following responsibilities:
  • Identifying slow-moving or surplus inventory to ensure that appropriate
inventory levels are maintained

  • Developing realistic inventory levels at the item an stockkeeping unit level
through the collection and critical evaluation of historical data

  • Managing the procurement of stock items to replenish inventory
  • Preparing request forms for system update
  • Obtaining price from vendors for DC price list products
  • Maintaining Contract workspace in Contract Management System
  • Preparing loadsheet for DC price maintenance in SAP
  • Preparing substitute products loadsheet for DGM on behalf of hospitals
  • Prepare daily reports for the In-Hospital Logistics teams
  • Monitor Vendor Acknowledgements on EDI and take appropriate action to address exceptions (Backorder / UOM variance / price variance / Vendor code variance)
  • Follow up with vendors on outstanding PO's and update the system with new delivery dates
  • Monitor backordered products for tentative stock out
  • Work with vendors on substitute information for backordered products and provide it to the In-Hospital Logistics teams
  • Communicate receiving discrepancies to vendors and coordinate with DC Receivers to resolve
  • Work with Finance and vendor on Invoice discrepancies
  • Update system reorder points, maximum inventory levels and price changes
  • Communicate vendor recalls to In-Hospital Logistics teams and coordinate returns to vendors
  • Follow up on outstanding Return to Vendor requests
  • Communicate changes in product demand to vendors
  • Communicate anomalies in ordering quantities to In-Hospital Logistics teams
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Postsecondary education in business and/or a related field is preferred
years of inventory management experience

  • Strong computer skills in windows environment (Excel, Access, ERP)
  • WMS experience preferred
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Selfmotivated and dependable with a solid team orientation

TRAVEL

  • Main office location: Oakville Distribution Centre
  • Ability to travel to other Mohawk Medbuy offices if required

Salary:
$42,234.00-$56,312.00 per year
