The Company

The Position


Custom Concrete (Northern) crushing division is currently searching for experienced Loader Operators with mechanical skills and knowledge with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in the mining/construction industry.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Complete transfer of material from stockpiles utilizing a frontend loader to feed crushing plant
  • Routine maintenance of equipment including grease and checking fluid levels
  • Perform prestart equipment inspection and report deficiencies to supervisor for correction as required
  • Demonstrated ability to use equipment correctly and effectively
  • Safe and effective operation of heavy equipment

Skills, Abilities and Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 2+ years' experience operating excavators, loaders and dozers in a mining or construction environment
  • Safe work background and culture
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions and complete tasks with little or no supervision
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience or more working in a jaw, cone crusher, screening and conveying operation

Work Environment and Physical Conditions

  • Ability to work outside and be exposed to all forms of weather conditions
  • Physical requirements include: standing, walking, bending, sitting when driving, routinely lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Climbing ladders up to 2.5 meters
  • Good depth perception and handeye coordination are requirements of this job
  • Use of hands, finger dexterity for manipulating the controls while operating equipment and plant is required
  • This is a safety sensitive position
