    Looking for a fast-paced kitchen environment to showcase your culinary skills?

    We invite you to apply for the First Cook position at Grand Villa Casino. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and food quality while working collaboratively with others.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead others by example in the kitchen, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in food preparation and presentation.
    • Manage time effectively, handling multiple demands and responsibilities with ease.
    • Work collaboratively in a team environment, providing support and guidance as needed.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of experience in a cook position or extensive culinary background.
    • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education.
    • Red Seal certification is an asset.
    • Foodsafe Certificate is an asset.
    • Strong understanding of meat, starch, sauces, soups, and food safety preparation.
    • Ability to lift items weighing similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for extended periods.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
