Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Burnaby, BC, for a Window Installer. The Window Installer will be responsible for the preparation, installation, and finishing of residential and commercial windows.
Daily tasks include measuring and cutting materials, safely removing existing windows, installing new windows, sealing and finishing edges, and maintaining compliance with safety and building codes.
The role involves working closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and delivering high-quality workmanship.Qualifications
Strong skills in window measurement, cutting, and precise installation
Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively
Knowledge of safety protocols, building codes, and insulation techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members
Problem-solving and attention to detail for handling installation challenges
Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy materials, and work at heights
Prior experience in window installation or related construction work is preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are beneficial
