ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Drafting correspondence to be sent to defense counsel, insurance companies, medical institutions and clients.
Completing OCF forms according to the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) requirements.
Communicating with insurance companies ensuring clients receive benefits as entitled under the SABS.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients, insurance adjusters and healthcare providers.
Reviewing medical documentation and other file contents.
Direct communication with various counsel and clients.
Overall daily file maintenance.

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3+ years of accident benefits experience including working knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and LAT Process.
Proven experience working in a fastpaced and highvolume practice (carrying 130+ of your own files with varying difficulty).
Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
Exceptional critical thinking skills.
Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Ghost Practices is an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
A passion for working within personal injury.
