The wage range for this role is $ /hr.

Your tasks at a glance

  • You assist during the preop exams and fill the patient's charts accurately.
  • You answer patient's questions and ensure the best service.
  • You work closely with Optometrists.
  • You conduct preoperative and postoperative tests for patients.
  • You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
  • You confirm by phone postoperative appointments.

A clear view of your assets

  • You have excellent communication skills in English.
  • You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
  • You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
  • You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).

Schedule:

You have flexible work availability from Monday to Friday, between 8:00am & 4:30pm, as well as Saturdays and late evenings on Wednesdays (in rotation).

Required:

You are comfortable traveling to other clinics (mainly in British Columbia) for work _(expenses covered by Vision Group)_.
