Your Role on our Team:
The Pool & Fitness Centre Representative is responsible for the Pool & Fitness Centre (PFC) facilities and ensures that all policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to while delivering outstanding customer service to our members.
In this role, you will:
- Provides excellent customer service to guests and member by professionally handling questions and complaints as well as providing facility tours and membership registrations/renewals;
- Performs regular facility walkthrough in order to supervise and monitor the gyms, pool, sundeck and change rooms facilities;
- Ensures ongoing completion of daily cleaning responsibilities;
- Ensures ongoing maintenance of all PCF facilities by placing service/maintenance calls for broken, damaged, defective items;
- Perform water tests and adjusts chemicals in swimming pool and whirlpool as required;
- Maintains current qualifications: NLS, SFA, CPR-C, WHMIS ;
- Enforces all gyms and pool rules/regulations and safe practices including ratios and age requirements;
- Assists PFC team to achieve department goals such as maintaining high guests satisfaction scores and membership numbers;
- Continuously pursues cost effective alternatives to improve financial performance in all areas;
- Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
We would like you to have:
Education:
High school is required. A University Degree or College Diploma is considered an asset.
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Specialized Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Health and fitness background or passion for such
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook
- Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
- Problem Solving skills
- Good Judgment
- Interpersonal skills
- Initiative and creative

- Emotional intelligence
