Joining National Bank as Residential Financial Manager means contributing to the achievement of the objectives of your team of Mortgage experts for the region of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and Côte-Nord.

It is through your leadership, your expertise in business development, your ability to share positive solutions and your support that you will make the difference with your team.

You will have under-management a team of 10 mortgage experts.


Your role:


  • Support the Associate Vice-President in the realization of the business plan.
  • Communicate the expected financial contribution to your team in relation to the business plan and identify the expected behaviours and activities to achieve the objectives.
  • Accompany team members in meetings with the main partners, internal and external, of the region and contribute to the establishment of profitable business relationships.
  • Work closely with regional leaders.
  • Regularly and rigorously monitor the team's business development activities, in order to identify positive elements as well as opportunities for performance improvement
  • Define and allocate territories according to market potential and manage the availability of resources.
  • Develop a talent pool, identifying and prospecting for potential recruits, as well as maintaining an active presence in the local mortgage professional community

Required skills:

Depending on your academic background, a minimum of experience will be required in managing a team of advisor-representatives as well as in business development in the financial field:

  • University certificate or PUB 1st cycle and 8 years of experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience
  • OR Master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of residential financing
  • Mortgage credit experience

Preferred skills:


  • Knowledge of SAP software
