Description

The CSR is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager on the daily operations and profitability of the branch according to business plans and objectives.

Daily operations include inventory management, customer satisfaction, product presentation and carrying out promotional activities, as well as maintaining solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.


Job Duties:

  • Support the Sales Manager in all aspects of the day to day operation of the store.
Including inventory management, customer satisfaction, material orders and transfers.

  • Responsible for opening and/or closing the store, as required.
  • Build customer relationships by providing prompt and exceptional sales and aftersales
service.

  • Determine customer needs and recommend the best solutions.
  • Ensure customer concerns are resolved with urgency and good judgment.
  • Maximize store and personal profitability through suggestive selling, addon sales
techniques, and a strong closing rate.

  • Foster and build a positive work environment.
  • Assist in driving merchandising directives and standards to achieve financial targets.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the company's products, services, promotions, programs and
policies

  • Resolve customer complaints, manage database records, drafting status reports on
customer service issues

  • Data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer problems and generate sales
leads
calendars and folders, online document editing and storage, video meetings, and more

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in the customer service industry
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and building related products and tools
  • Proven customer service skills and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing using
Construction experience and or knowledge of construction an asset
