    Contribute to our Mission Zero goals by supporting sales and product developments for our energy efficient vertical fine grinding mills. You will be joining the Mine Shaft Systems product line of FLSmidth with office located in Orillia, Ontario, Canada, and report to the Sale Manager.

    Key Accountabilities Summary:

    Product Line Manager with a business development focus on, but not limited to, Mexico, Central America, South America. Work with Regional Sales, educate, determine market potential, enact plan with Regional Sales.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Evaluate market potential, with particular focus on, but not limited to, Mexico, Central and South America.
  • Educate and motivate Regional Salespersons on FLSmidth Mine Shaft Systems product line.
  • International travel for customer sales meetings and product line offerings. Develop sales strategies with Regional Sales for increased market capture and to become self-sufficient at identifying Mine Shaft Systems opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports for Mine Shaft Systems management on progress and assist with business development plan(s).
  • Support other sales activities as relevant.
  • Support project execution by providing technical and commercial input to maximize revenue.
  • Manage sales related systems and databases e.g., CRM: customer relationship management systems.
  • Promote a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activities.
  • What you bring:

  • Electrical engineering degree, or technologist, or related work experience related to mine hoist applications.
  • Mechanical engineering degree, or technologist, or related work experience, related to mine shaft conveyance applications.
  • Sales and business development experience.
  • Strong communication skills and functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Self-motivated individual who learns quickly with minimal supervision.
