Some of what you will do:


As the Wireless Manager, you will be accountable for financial and non-financial business results through effective management and execution of the Wireless department.

In partnership with the Field Operations Sales Leader and General Manager, responsible to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy.

You will actively manage the attraction, orientation, retention and succession planning of Wireless Consultants. You will evaluate, coach and provide high quality instruction to direct and indirect reports. You will manage daily performance of direct reports and ensure ongoing performance growth and development.

As the Wireless Manager, you will work actively with management and other business units to develop and reinforce the selling culture, leverage customer relationships to drive sales, and uphold company merchandising standards.

Specifically, you will:


  • Takes opportunities to identify and grow new business opportunities and prospects, sharing referrals with appropriate areas of the business.
  • Support an environment of risk taking and innovation to drive sales.
  • Takes ownership for the customer service resolution process in your department.
  • Identify and achieve short and long term goals for your department, partner with appropriate stakeholders to remove barriers and explore opportunities. Ensure team understands connection between store financial success and the wireless department.
  • Lead and model selling in the Wireless department and cultivate a selling culture with consultants and associates working in the department to achieve current goals and targets.
  • Maximize department sales opportunities by leveraging the sales capabilities of the Wireless consultants by using current selling techniques and company programs.
  • Work with various market leaders including District Manager, Business Development Manager, Retail Sales and Services Manager to target and generate business sales leads and referrals.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes within your department.
  • Take ownership to ensure regular coaching and performancebased conversations are happening in a timely manner and action plans are in place; follow up on development of associates.
  • Maintain and direct team to uphold company merchandising standards, including current pricing, signage, planograms, promotional planners, ad setups and displays.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, follow all company protocols for safety and take steps to rectify deficiencies.
  • Maximize department sales opportunities by implementing and reinforcing the inspired selling programs.

Some of what you need:


  • Completion of postsecondary education is preferred.
  • 2+ years of Wireless Sales experience.
  • 1+ year in a supervisory role with direct accountability for achieving sales targets is preferred.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability.
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
  • Ability to make decisions with integrity that supports company guidelines and makes good business sense.
  • Ability to resolve customer concerns in a diplomatic manner.
  • Ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Capacity to communicate with all stakeholders effectively using a variety of mediums.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize efficiently to effectively handle their daily responsibilities and serve our customers.
  • Ability to coach for results.
  • Ability to work effectively with ongoing distractions is necessary.
  • Takes opportunities for selfdevelopment.
  • Can engage appropriately and work as part of a team.
  • Capacity to work independently and seek out assistance as required.
