    The Process Engineer position is responsible for support of current design and manufacturing of printed circuit boards through the development and implementation of manufacturing processes. The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting integration of processes and or equipment, establishment of operating conditions to produce TTM product, daily monitoring of process conditions, and performing failure mode effect analysis to determine failure points of the process. The Process Engineer acts as an inter-departmental resource that works with other company functions to ensure that specific product can be made to exceed both customer and TTM expectations.

  • Identify and resolve manufacturing problems while maintaining quality standards through engineering methodology, data collection, and analysis of statistical metrics
  • Interface with customers, technicians, production personnel and support staff
  • Participate in continuous improvement training and activities such as Kaizen and 6S teams
  • Continuously improve manual and automated production processes
  • Develop, document, maintain, and standardize production floor processes and procedures to facilitate production
  • Execute capital equipment projects including implementation, documentation etc.
  • Comply with and support all department and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Organize and manage multiple projects and tasks to assure high quality and timely service to all internal and external customers
  • Follow detailed direction to prepare changes, additions, and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing
  • Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
  • Analyze data to identify problematic parts in manufacture
  • Work with Quality to keep FMEA and Control Plans current
  • Write DCN's, FEE DCN's and respond to NCR/CAR's.
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemical.

  • A Bachelor's Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing; or equivalent experience required
