Job Description:

***: You will assist to develop the manufacturing plan to support management objectives on on-time delivery, inventory levels and customer service.


Principal Responsibilities:


  • You will maintain the materials plan supporting the master production schedule following actual customer demand.
  • You will reduce inventory through advanced analytics while maintaining customer service including final and electronic assembly.
  • You will contribute to the development of strategic plans within the primary departments. Help implement strategic plans developed for the plants teams.
  • You will pursue longterm corrective actions from suppliers who exhibit quality or delivery problems by partnering with Purchasing and Sourcing.
  • You will develop targets for all direct reports and provide feedback on progress towards those goals.
  • You will be a positive role model by taking proactive role in improving processes through training/teaching/coaching production and inventory control concepts and procedures.
  • You will demonstrate systemic thinking and expertise in a dynamic manufacturing landscape.
  • You will support risk management that promotes a process improvement philosophy.
  • You will have a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
  • You will plan and direct the efforts of assigned staff. Provide necessary training and leadership to develop expertise in inventory management.
  • You will communicate feedback of corrective action with other departments to support the plan in that area.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • The ability to work in Canada without sponsorship, we will not sponsor visas for this position now, or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3 year experience within a production/inventory control environment.
  • CPIM, CIRM, CPP, APICS certification or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is essential.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency of including working knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and SAP.
