Job Description:

***: You will assist to develop the manufacturing plan to support management objectives on on-time delivery, inventory levels and customer service.

Principal Responsibilities:

You will maintain the materials plan supporting the master production schedule following actual customer demand.
You will reduce inventory through advanced analytics while maintaining customer service including final and electronic assembly.
You will contribute to the development of strategic plans within the primary departments. Help implement strategic plans developed for the plants teams.
You will pursue longterm corrective actions from suppliers who exhibit quality or delivery problems by partnering with Purchasing and Sourcing.
You will develop targets for all direct reports and provide feedback on progress towards those goals.
You will be a positive role model by taking proactive role in improving processes through training/teaching/coaching production and inventory control concepts and procedures.
You will demonstrate systemic thinking and expertise in a dynamic manufacturing landscape.
You will support risk management that promotes a process improvement philosophy.
You will have a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
You will plan and direct the efforts of assigned staff. Provide necessary training and leadership to develop expertise in inventory management.
You will communicate feedback of corrective action with other departments to support the plan in that area.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
The ability to work in Canada without sponsorship, we will not sponsor visas for this position now, or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 year experience within a production/inventory control environment.
CPIM, CIRM, CPP, APICS certification or equivalent.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is essential.
Demonstrated high proficiency of including working knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and SAP.
