JOB PURPOSE
Persil is the largest brand within Unilever UKI's Home Care category (RSV over £191m, +14,6% value sales)


Persil is known for being tough on stains, but with a vision to ensure all our products are kinder to the planet so that we can democratise sustainable cleaning.

We have made great strides in this space with changes to our portfolio including a move to cardboard capsule packs, using recycled plastic in our liquids bottles, developing formulations with plant-based stain removers, and ensuring that our products are all recyclable through at-home collection.


We are looking for a passionate, business-savvy and digitally smart marketer with an appetite to help drive transformational growth and take this fantastic brand to even greater heights.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the Brand Manager in implementing the UK brand strategy and development of the marketing programs and purposeled programs.
  • Supporting the Brand Manager in the development of creative assets by working closely with creative agencies.
  • Assisting with the commercial delivery of the brand incl. monitoring and reporting in market performance and action planning.
  • Working with crossfunctional teams to develop and launch innovations, including pack price architecture optimizations, and review success with postlaunch evaluations and 100day tracking.
  • Delivering campaigns and marketing activities: collaborating across functions, teams & agencies; bringing teams together to deliver strong digitallyled, omnichannel marketing plans.
  • Crafting content with a digitalfirst mindset and working closely with the Digital Hub team to deliver this with excellence to consumers, tracking, monitoring and assessing performance ongoing in order to optimise and adapt.
  • Representing Home Care within the business, as the key source of knowledge on brand performance and plans.
  • Presenting to Retailers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing projects & budgets.

  • Strong project management skills, with proven success of leading team/s to execute challenging & complex projects, including innovation/renovation development.
  • The ability to work confidently and productively with multiple cross functional teams, with strong communication, presentation skills and stakeholder influencing abilities.
  • Have a balance of creativity & science: can think creatively & strategically, with strong business mindset. Being commercially minded with a proven trackrecord of successfully managing a P&L and budgets. Be creative with an eye for aesthetic & design, a passion for creative excellence & with experience developing communications and assets.
  • Numeracy & data analysis skills for insight development.
  • You are hungry to understand all the nuances of new categories/segments and emerging channels: have high standards, attention to detail and have an entrepreneurial and 'cando' approach, be able to work with and unlock change and complexity to deliver results.
  • Passion about our consumers, our brands & our purpose.
  • Ambition to learn & proactivity in your own development: learning about the brands & Unilever, but also challenging process and bringing new ways of thinking & behaving.
  • Be able to demonstrate the Unilever Standards of Leadership and champion the consumer, shopper and customer in everything they do.
