    Job Title: Project Planner/Scheduler
    Location: Calgary, AB
    Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hour/week

    Job Description Summary:
    The position is responsible for managing the Master Schedule and Report Deliverables that serves as the "One Guiding Schedule" for the entire team.
    Job Description:

    •Manage master schedule through bi-weekly schedule update with directions coming from collaboration with the team (Drilling, Completions, Facilities, Civil Earthworks, Pipeline, Water, CSU, Asset Development, and Development Planning). Master schedule report is created from Excel Gantt chart and spreadsheet using data generated via download of Primavera project native files.

    •Perform schedule scenarios as required that serves as backup document to Schedule Management of Change (MOC).

    •Maintain alignment of master schedule functional activity durations with that of latest playbook and benchmark durations.

    •Maintain alignment of master schedule pad sequence consistent with Development Planning "Enersight" software pad sequence.

    •Perform and issue the following reports after each schedule update:
  • Business Partner Lookahead Schedule
  • Padlife/Digital solutions
  • Scorecards
    •Actively participate and assist in facilitating weekly Factory Performance Team (FPT) meeting.

    •Manage Parent Authorization for Expenditure (AFE), Final Investment Decision (FID) packages, schedule MOCs, and Monthly Performance Report.

    •Hold a degree in Engineering or possess equivalent cost or schedule-related experience with over 10+ years' relevant experience in Project controls in Major Capital Projects in the Oil and Gas industry, including proficiency in Scheduling, Cost Management and Procurement Tools (e.g. Primavera, Kildrummy Cost Manager (KCM), SAP S4N Hana, SMART GEP). Preference for related Project controls experience in an upstream Unconventional Oil and Gas environment.
    Selection Criteria 1:
    Functional knowledge and experience: Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling oil and gas upstream projects. Actively led planning & scheduling development on a multi-functional project team. Demonstrated ability to develop and/or implement digital innovations and solutions related to Planning & Scheduling. Must be proficient in Primavera, Excel, and Power Point presentation. Demonstrated track record of delivering results on capital projects.
