Job Brief:
We are seeking a highly motivated Korea Market Student Recruiter to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting market research, collaborating with recruitment agents, managing Korea market social media, producing promotional materials, and analyzing sales data.


Responsibilities:


  • Respond to incoming enquiries regarding IH programs.
  • Maintain regular communication with agents.
  • Organize orientation meetings for new students.
  • Represent the school at fairs and workshops, both domestically and internationally, as needed.
  • Stay updated on market developments and develop strategic plans accordingly.
  • Provide training to key agents and counsellors through visits and training sessions.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures, and social media content, to promote IH Vancouver to various demographics.
  • Manage messaging and responses on different platforms (e.g., Instagram, KakaoTalk and Naver) to promote IH Vancouver.
  • Maintain contact with parents, agencies, and other relevant stakeholders in Korea.
  • Design and execute market events.
  • Report findings on specific markets to management.
  • Maintain a database of market contacts.
  • Assist students throughout their stay, addressing enquiries, course changes, visa issues, documentation, and complaints.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up for payments.
  • Provide quotes for group enquiries based on management guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing, business, administration, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in an international school or college, with familiarity in student management systems.
  • Proficiency in English and Korean.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Willingness to travel within the Greater Vancouver area and occasionally outside the region.
  • Availability for travel to education fairs, agent meetings, and other events as required.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet job demands.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, particularly regarding student/parent information and school policies.
  • Proficient knowledge of employee supervision principles and practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of student registration practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with administrative organization and academic regulations.
  • Experience in standard recordkeeping procedures and data management support systems.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and support students in achieving success.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking, problemsolving, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to guide students through the registration process.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Respect for diversity and ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Capacity to work independently, analyze information, draw conclusions, and present findings to senior management effectively.
  • Ability to set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track progress.

Salary:
$35,000-$50,000 per annum

Ability to commute/relocate:
Must be able to reliably commute to Vancouver, BC or plan to relocate before starting work.
