THE ROLE
The Golf Course Worker maintains the golf course property using small powered and manual equipment.

They maintain greens, tee box areas, turf on fairways or other areas, as well as maintain and repair golf course outbuildings, fences, bridges, nets and screens.

The Golf Course Worker also performs basic horticultural duties such as planting and pruning trees, shrubs and flowers and maintaining and creating flowerbeds.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**Some High School AND some years' experience in landscaping

Valid Driver's Licence (ON), an asset


Experience
In landscaping or golf course maintenance

In operating specialized turf care equipment


Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential

OTHER INFORMATION
This Category I unionized position is open to all interested parties.

Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the PSAC bargaining unit for NPF Category I employees at CFB Kingston.

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg).

Seasonal Part Time position

The anticipated Term of this position is: May-October
