Maya HTT is also a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) for the Siemens Digital Industries Software products, with a focus on CAE-based simulation and providing engineering services, including software training, migration, implementation, and custom development, along with consulting.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced

Accounting Clerk to join our team on a part-time (3 days per week), permanent basis in Montreal.
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for a wide range of daily accounting activities, including:


Responsibilities:


  • Reviewing and processing supplier invoices in multiple currencies for various operating companies (related to the accounts payable function).
  • Participating in the accounts receivable function, which involves:
  • Posting and processing of employee expense reports;
  • Recording payments made to supplier into accounting;
  • Assisting the team with sales taxes filing and remittance in Canada, US, and other countries.
  • Participating in the accounts receivable function, which involves:
  • Conducting collection efforts for multiple companies;
  • Generating sales invoices;
  • Processing credit card payments;
  • Posting journal entries as needed;
  • Collaborating with members of accounting and sales operations departments.
  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for nonoperating companies.
  • Issuing software licensing as required.

Minimum Requirements:


  • College diploma in Accounting or bachelor's degree in Accounting in progress.
  • 13 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of Sage 50 or other accounting software is a must.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities are essential. Knowledge of macros and Access would be an asset.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Organized and detailoriented; good planning, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Eager to learn and improve existing processes.
  • Are comfortable in a small company environment.
