Marketing Assistant role is highly collaborative, with a focus on
managing marketing assets, community engagement, copywriting, and the
ongoing maintenance of product pages.

This role requires diligence, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to self-manage multiple projects and timelines.
Your time will largely be spent working with the marketing team to create new product pages, maintain existing product pages, and assist with community engagement on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google My Business.
The primary competencies required to be successful in this position are as follows:
- A desire to learn
- Copywriting & editing
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with various stakeholders across crossfunctional teams
- A desire to understand and help your audience based on data driven insights
Your role will be primarily focused on the following:
Content Maintenance (60%):
- Deploying updates to and maintaining the accuracy of product & service pages
- Assisting with the development of marketing content
Social Media Management (30%):
- Managing the content of social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google My Business, etc...
- Managing community interactions on social media channels
Professional Development (10%)
- Participating in Worksite Safety's training programs to gain first hand experience with product catalogue, market, and the problems that those products solve for our endusers
- Participate in Continuing Education courses and industry events to improve/refine and learn new skill sets
Compensation:
$45,000/year - $55,000/year - Dependent on Experience
Room to grow into more specialized marketing roles
Required Qualifications:
- Must have experience with Content Management Systems (such as WordPress, Shopify, Etc...)
- Must have experience with social media community management
- Must have experience in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Must have experience with some form of copywriting
Nice to have:
- Experience with graphic design tools such as photoshop or illustrator is an asset
- Experience with project management is an asset

Salary:
$21.63-$26.44 per hour
