As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate input and review of billing incurred by the organization.

Day Shift - 8am

  • 4:30pm Monday to Friday

  • Timely and accurately voucher supplier invoices electronically in a paperless environment
  • Retrieval or scanned packing slips to solve quantity discrepancies/duplicate shipment invoice issues
  • Review of vouchers payable receipts on a regular basis for assigned vendors
  • Review of supplier statements, to ensure all invoices are entered monthly
  • Contact the supplier for missing invoices or discrepancies in the statement
  • Reply to inquiries from suppliers on the status of an invoice or group of invoices
  • Communicate with other internal departments and external parties when required
  • Assist others in the accounting group as needed

Skills & Experience:


  • Understanding of accounting and general ledgers
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post and correct invoices and discrepancies.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize
  • High level of moral judgement for handling confidential information
