ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:


Working as an integral part of the Ta7lnew̓ás Education, Employment and Training Department, reporting to the Manager, TTC, Manager, EET, and Manager, ASA, this position has a working knowledge of Squamish language and is responsible for language and cultural instruction for students and mentorship.

The incumbent will plan and deliver the language and cultural programs for Ta7lnew̓ás Education, Employment, and Training department.

The incumbent is expected to operate with the highest level of confidentiality and has experience in implementing language, and culture mentorship.

In addition, to language and cultural instruction, the incumbent works with the EET team to achieve goals (e.g. family/community engagement). The incumbent may be required to support EET department language and cultural programming needs. The incumbent uses a student-focused approach to support the full inclusion of all learners.

Salary:
$53,456 - $59,624 annually, plus a comprehensive benefit program.
