Job Title:
General Labourer


Summary:
The General Labourer at Camptech II Circuits Inc. will be primarily responsible for assisting with the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs).

This role demands attention to detail, an ability to follow strict guidelines, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

This position is fundamental to ensuring the efficient and timely production of PCB units at our factory.


Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods to designated areas using manual and automated equipment.

Assembly Assistance: Aid the assembly line by placing components, soldering when necessary, and ensuring correct component placements.

Quality Control: Conduct basic inspections of PCBs to ensure they meet Camptech II Circuits Inc.'s standards and specifications.

Machine Operations: Operate basic machinery under supervision. Ensure machinery is working optimally and report any malfunctions immediately.

Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by ensuring tools, stations, and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately after use. Assist in routine maintenance tasks.

Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues as necessary.

Documentation: Accurately record data related to completed PCB units, material consumption, and any deviations from standard procedures.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and report any unsafe conditions.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest techniques in PCB assembly and the use of emerging tools and machines.

Miscellaneous Duties: Assist in other related tasks or assignments as directed by the supervisor and company president.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a PCB manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and handeye coordination.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy objects (up to [specific weight]).
  • Basic understanding of safety practices and procedures.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.

Salary:
$15.50-$18.00 per hour

  • French not required

  • Monday to Friday

  • Markham, ON L3R 3L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
