This role will report to the Director, Research and Insights.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Analysis of program and research results to optimize effectiveness and deliver insights that drive continual improvement in the member and/or client experience.
  • Analyze data and presents trends, insights and strategic recommendations; interpret large data sets to present insightsbased solutions for solving marketing challenges and driving business
- outcomes.

  • Interpret data to inform regular cadence of decision making for marketing activities, such as customer segmentation, customer needs analysis, product development and campaign
- effectiveness assessment.

  • Define and track KPIs. Establish dashboards that are tailored to the information needs of key audiences.

You are:

A seasoned marketer who loves building things- you want to work on an established brand like Vancity but still have a desire to create and develop marketing strategies, plans and campaigns for an emerging part of our business.

A strategic planner - you are comfortable uncovering, analyzing and leveraging data, market gaps and consumer trends to drive marketing strategies.

A critical thinker- you use your creativity and innovation to spot patterns of information, pose the tough question, and come up with creative solutions.

Knowledgeable and curious - you have advanced knowledge of the concepts, practices and techniques in the marketing space and are always hungry to learn more.


You have:


  • University Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business or the equivalent work experience in a similar B2B or B2C industries.
  • 8 years of professional experience in marketing and analytics. A focus on Financial, Investment or Insurance services an asset.
  • Proven experience in developing, growing, and managing a team of analysts.
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and the business acumen to deliver on small, medium, and largescale marketing initiatives.
  • Proven marketing skills consumer insight/target strategy, brand, brand communication, activation, and channel management.
  • Superior ability to work with, engage, and influence increasingly sophisticated, data driven stakeholders and Line of Business leads.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with a natural attention to detail and the capacity to develop actionable insights to take them to full implementation.
  • Ability to bring new innovative marketing approaches to life and constantly evolve best practice.
