We are looking for a Part-time AQPIC to join our team.

Main Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution and returns operations in an efficient, economic, accurate, safe and timely manner in accordance to company policies, established procedures including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures, provincial and federal legislations
Ensure that narcotic operations including licensing, security, script approvals, stock control, shipping, reporting, and record keeping are in compliance with CDSA, NCR, and other directives stipulated by OCS
Facilitate regulatory submissions related to narcotic license and personnel amendment
Responsible for lost stock reporting, maintenance of vault/cage security, and sanitation of the vault/cage
Report suspicious transactions to appropriate authorities
Liaise with Health Canada OCS officials during announced and unannounced audits
Respond to audits, develop action plans and follow up to ensure that approved actions are completed and documented
Perform functions as stipulated on procedures and support other job functions as required

Skills & Experience:

BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Pharmacology and/or Pharmacy is required
Ability to meet Health Canada's requirements to perform QPIC/AQPIC responsibilities
Knowledge and understanding of Canadian GMP Regulations is an asset
Working knowledge of current regulations including CDSA
Ability to multitask in a fast paced, complex and dynamic work environment
Strong communication skills: written and verbal
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills
Experience working in a regulated environment preferably in warehousing environment
Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime to meet the needs of the business
Subject to security clearance
