Key responsibilities:


  • Manage team members including scheduling, training and development
  • Work with Human Resources to recruit and train new staff
  • Produce weekly work schedules for the team
  • Help create a culture of coaching and recognition
  • Facilitate daily preshift meetings with Front of House and Back of House teams
  • Work closely with the General Manager to plan and implement annual calendar of programing, promotions, and partnerships
  • Ensure the weekly calendar of programming and promotions is communicated and executed
  • First inperson point of contact for large group bookings and restaurant buyouts, working closely with the Group Service Manager
  • Champion our operational policies and procedures, and health and safety standards
  • Manage and oversee inventory and transfers of inventory to other locations
  • Ensure every guest has an outstanding, memorable experience
  • Facilitate weekly operations meetings
  • Ensure end of day cash reconciliations and end of day report is completed
  • This is a fulltime hourly, permanent position, offering approximately 40 hours per week, various shifts including weekends._

Experience and qualifications:


  • Preferably 2years' minimum experience in a restaurant management position
  • Experience working in a high paced restaurant environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Competence with financial reports
  • Experience with vendor relations, scheduling and costing
  • Preferably experience with OpenTable reservation platform
  • Experience with POS systems
