Therapeutic Recreation - Summer Camp Positions

Therapeutic Recreation offers Summer Camps for children and youth 4-18 years of age with physical, communication and developmental needs living in Durham Region at our Oshawa site.

Core hours for Summer Camp staff are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

In order to meet Canada Summer Jobs Funding Program eligibility, which supports this role, applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment, and legally entitled to work in Canada.

Summer Camp Positions_

Therapeutic Recreation offers Summer Camps for children and youth 4-18 years of age with physical, communication and developmental needs living in Durham Region at our Oshawa site.

Core hours for Summer Camp staff are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Camp Coordinator (1) $ 22.00/hr. June 1- August 25, 2023

Head Leader (3) $ /hr. June 1- August 25, 2023

Nursing Student:
(2) $ /hr. June 2- August 25, 2023

Special Needs Counsellors (9 ) $ hr. June 23- August 25, 2023
- *Preference given to 3rd and 4th year nursing students._

In the event Camp is not possible due to Covid-19 restrictions, alternative programming including respite and welcome centre tasks may be offered.
